Chearsley votes YES for its Village Plan
 
The results of the vote on the Chearsley Village Plan were:
 
 
Number of voting forms issue:            222                        
Number of voting forms returned:           108*  (49% response)
 
Total number of votes cast:   210                                         
Number of YES votes:   118  (56% of votes cast)
Number of NO votes:       92  (44% of votes cast)
 
*Includes two spoilt forms, the votes from which were not counted
 
 
A motion proposing formal adoption of the Village Plan
will now be put to the next meeting of the Parish Council
 
 
The Bottle of Champagne was won by the Granary, School Lane

Chearsley 2014 is published

Chearsley 2014 is the Final version of our Village Plan and was published on 27 January 2014.
 
A copy is now being delivered to every household in the village, along with a voting form inviting you to formally adopt the document.  You should receive yours by the end of this week (31 January).  If it doesn't arrive please phone 01844 202791.

A copy of the document and the voting form are also available on this site (see panel left)

If you use this e-voting form please be sure to add at Box A the reference number shown on the paper form that was delivered to your house.  If you don't your vote won't be counted.  Please submit only one completed form per household.

The completed voting form must be returned by Sunday 16th February.
